Don’t spend your children’s home time away from them; make sure you spend the right amount of time at work, do not get more work than you need to and learn to delegate tasks to others. Patience is important when dealing with kids. Your patience will be tested since they don’t do what you tell them to do and do the things that you don’t want them to do. Play with them, talk to them, watch movies with them, or just be lazy with them on weekends. If there are no distractions then these times are good time to bond with your children.
There should be punishment for bad behavior and praise for good ones. This is a good way for them to learn what is right and to hate what is wrong. And they will grow up bringing with them this lesson.
